InfoLab21 is a well equipped, high-tech environment which resident companies share with a community of ICT researchers, trainers, students, knowledge transfer staff and businesses who together have created a unique culture of innovation.
One benefit of becoming an InfoLab21 resident, particularly for companies new to the country, is the free networking benefits of the local and Northwest communities InfoLab21 has created that residents can immediately tap into:
Regional Community: InfoLab21 Associate Companies
Once in InfoLab21, resident companies also become InfoLab21 Associate Companies and part of a Northwest network of over 500 companies, nearly 100 of which have profiles on the InfoLab21 website.
Local Community: Lancashire and Cumbria ICT Clusters
Resident companies are also encouraged to join their local cluster group of ICT companies. Cluster groups provide a free and open exchange of knowledge and information to maximise business opportunities. The Lancaster ICT Cluster is the largest and oldest Northwest cluster with over 100 members. The Lancaster Cluster is one of 6 groups of ICT clusters who meet bimonthly across the Northwest.
